God speaks through His word, through direct speech into our Spirits, but He also speaks in ways through His Spirit that we have to learn He has wired us for. Some of us are feelers and can sense when God is doing something or when something is off. Some of us are seers and can visually see things that cause us to understand someone's motives or if an opportunity is good. Some of us are knowers and are guided by our gut through intuition and instinct that comes from our Spiritual connection to God through His Spirit.
